Cozy cabins: The cabins were small but cozy, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere during our Christmas getaway. Beautiful surroundings: The resort was located in a picturesque setting, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful environment to relax and unwind. Close to attractions: The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities, ensuring that there was always something to do.
Limited amenities: The cabins lacked certain amenities like a fully equipped kitchen, making it difficult to cook and dine comfortably, especially during bad weather. Remote location: The resort was quite remote and not within walking distance of any nearby town, making it less convenient for exploring the area or accessing services.

My husband and I stayed here in one of the bungalows. We had a great stay they are a little small for the price. But so cute and the bed is super comfy. No one bugged us and sitting out front with a cup of coffee was beautiful.
A little small for the price and our outside light didn’t work.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort! The cabin was cozy and comfortable, providing us with a great night's sleep in a quiet environment. The water pressure in the small shower was surprisingly good. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy and hassle-free. We had a delicious dinner in town at a nice Italian restaurant with a full bar and live music. The location of the resort was beautiful, and the cabin itself was beautifully decorated. The personal touch of the storybook left in the room was a lovely surprise. The service was exceptional - when we left a bracelet behind, the owner promptly contacted us and shipped it back with no issues. This family-run business is highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort! The bungalows were cozy and clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The location was quiet and wooded, with plenty of space between cabins. The pool was a wonderful way to relax after a long drive. The water feature at the resort added a nice touch, although it was a bit chilly. We especially enjoyed watching the deer running around in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Nothing that we didn't like.

The cozy cabins are fully stocked with a kitchen, deck with BBQ, and TV. The location is ideal for outdoor activities, with close proximity to Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest. The nature-like pool and shallow end are perfect for families. The rustic cottages provide a charming and comfortable stay, with small tables, kitchens, and sunlit surroundings. The friendly staff even left a complimentary bottle of champagne and invited guests to enjoy the clubhouse. a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The specific cabin we stayed in was older and lacked air conditioning, making it uncomfortable in warmer weather.

I had a wonderful stay at Lazy Z Resort in Twain Harte. The seclusion and comfort of the small studio cabin provided a great night's sleep in a quiet setting. The water pressure in the small shower was impressive and check-in and check-out were incredibly easy. The unique and eclectic charm of the cabin, surrounded by beautiful nature, made for a refreshing change from ordinary hotel rooms. The cleanliness of the entire property was top-notch, and I can't wait to come back again. The breathtaking beauty of the surrounding woods and the clubhouse with its pool, reading area, pool table, and big screen TV added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I loved the location of this resort. It was perfect for our family vacation, with easy access to both Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest. The nature-like pool was beautiful, and it had a secure shallow end for my little ones. Our cabin was isolated and private, yet still conveniently close to the clubhouse and pool.
Nothing, it is perfect.

As a nature lover, I was thrilled with the secluded location and picturesque view at Lazy Z. The rustic historic buildings and beautifully updated grounds exude a warm, inviting charm. Despite the cold weather, I had a great time relaxing in the hot tub and admiring the refreshing pool and well-maintained grounds. The entire property has a laid-back atmosphere, with open viewing of unused cottages, an abundance of games and antiques, and cozy gathering rooms. Exploring the stunning surroundings was an adventure I won't forget, and I can't wait to come back and try out a different cabin.
Totally recommend this hotel.
